Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:- An active Samsung Galaxy Store Seller Portal account
- Your app published on the Samsung Galaxy Store
- Permission to create API Service Accounts in the Seller Portal
Step-by-step integration
Open the Samsung Seller Portal
Go to seller.samsungapps.com and sign in with your Samsung account.
Navigate to API Service
In the left sidebar, go to Assistance > API Service. This is where you manage API credentials for your seller account.
Create a Service Account
Click Create Service Account and set the scope to publishing. This scope grants access to read app information, view reviews, and post replies.
The “publishing” scope is the only one that includes review access. Other scopes will not work with AppReply.
Download the RSA private key
After creating the Service Account, download the RSA private key file. Samsung provides this as a
.pem file. Also copy the Service Account ID displayed on the same page. You will need both values in the next step.Enter credentials in AppReply
- Log in to AppReply
- Go to Applications
- Click the three dots next to your Samsung app and select Integrate
- Enter your Service Account ID
- Upload the
.pemprivate key file, or paste the key contents manually - Click Complete Integration
Adding a Samsung app
If your Samsung app is not yet listed in AppReply, you can add it manually:- Go to Applications and click Add App
- Scroll to the Add from other stores section
- Select Samsung Galaxy Store
- Enter the Content ID (the 12-digit number that identifies your app in Samsung Galaxy Store) and App Name
- Click Add App, then integrate using the steps above
Verification
After completing the integration, AppReply will:- Verify your Service Account credentials
- Test the connection to Samsung Galaxy Store
- Begin syncing your reviews (usually within 5-15 minutes)
Troubleshooting
- Invalid credentials: Double-check that the Service Account ID matches the one shown in the Seller Portal. Make sure the private key is complete, including the
-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----and-----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----lines. - Permission errors: Confirm your Service Account uses the “publishing” scope. Other scopes do not include review access.
- Lost private key: If you lose your private key file, you will need to create a new Service Account in the Seller Portal and re-integrate in AppReply.
- Content ID not found: Make sure you are entering the 12-digit Content ID, not the app package name.
Security notes
- Your credentials are encrypted before being stored
- AppReply only accesses the review-related portions of the Samsung API
- You can revoke access at any time by deleting the Service Account in the Seller Portal
