AppReply has a remote MCP server, so you can add it to Claude as a custom connector. Once connected, you can ask Claude things like “what are today’s unreplied 1-star reviews?” or “how does our rating compare to our top competitors?” and Claude pulls the answer from AppReply and the public app stores. The connector is read-only. Claude can look things up, but it cannot reply to reviews, approve drafts, or change any settings.

Add a custom connector in Claude

In Claude, open Settings > Connectors and choose Add custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner may need to add it for the organization first.

Enter the server URL

Name the connector (for example, “AppReply”) and use this URL:
Leave the OAuth client fields empty. Claude registers itself automatically.

Sign in to AppReply

Click Connect. A window opens on appreply.co. Sign in if you aren’t already.

Choose an organization and allow access

The consent screen shows which app is asking for access and where you’ll be sent back to. Pick the AppReply organization Claude should read, then click Allow access.
Each connection reads one organization. To use a different organization, disconnect and connect again, choosing the other one.

Public app store research

These tools work for any app on Google Play or the App Store, not just yours. Most accept a country (default us) and a language (default en). Store research covers Google Play and the App Store only. Reviews from Samsung Galaxy Store, Huawei AppGallery, and RuStore are available through your AppReply data tools if those apps are connected.

Access and security

  • Claude gets a short-lived access token, renewed automatically for up to 30 days of inactivity. After that, Claude asks you to connect again.
  • Every request checks that you’re still a member of the organization. If you’re removed from the organization, the connector stops working right away.
  • To disconnect, remove the connector in Claude’s Settings > Connectors.

Troubleshooting

You need to belong to an AppReply organization before you can connect. Accept your invite or finish onboarding first.
Tools about your own data take the AppReply app ID from list_connected_apps, not the store ID. Ask Claude to list your connected apps first.
