Review translation
AppReply supports translation for 97 languages, covering major global languages like Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic, European languages including Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, and Polish, Asian languages such as Korean, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian, plus regional languages and emerging market dialects. The best part is automatic detection. You never need to manually specify source languages since the system figures it out for you.Translation accuracy: Modern AI translation provides high accuracy for review content. Complex technical terms or cultural references may require manual review for critical responses.
Organization-level translation preferences
You can configure translation behavior for your entire organization in Settings > Organization > Translation. These preferences apply across all apps and team members. Auto-translation toggle controls whether incoming reviews are automatically translated. When enabled, reviews in foreign languages are translated as they arrive. Turn it off if your team prefers to translate reviews manually on a case-by-case basis. Target language sets which language reviews are translated into. By default this is English, but you can choose any supported language to match your team’s working language. Never-translate list lets you skip translation for specific languages. If your team already reads certain languages natively, add them to this list to avoid unnecessary translations. For example, a bilingual team working in English and Spanish might add Spanish to the never-translate list.Response translation
AppReply can translate your responses into the reviewer’s language. The translation maintains cultural context and appropriate communication styles, not just word-for-word conversion. The language matching system works intelligently: it detects the reviewer’s language from their original feedback, lets you generate responses in English using AI assistance or templates, then automatically translates to the target language matching the reviewer while maintaining cultural context and appropriate formality levels. You have three flexible workflow methods for response translation. Method 1: Direct language matching lets you write or generate your response in English, click “Match reviewer’s language,” and AppReply translates to the detected review language so you can review and send the localized response. Method 2: Manual language selection lets you compose your response in English and use the translation tool to convert to any supported language, perfect for targeting specific language markets or when reviewer language detection is uncertain. Method 3: Native language composition allows you to compose responses directly in the target language and use translation verification to check English equivalents, ideal for team members who are native speakers and ensures maximum cultural authenticity.Translation quality assurance
AppReply provides tools to ensure translation quality so your message maintains its intended meaning and impact across languages. Accuracy verification includes back-translation checking where you can translate your response to the target language and use “Translate to English” to verify the meaning remains intact, helping you identify potential mistranslations before sending. Context preservation ensures technical terms remain consistent across translations, app-specific terminology is maintained appropriately, brand voice adapts to cultural communication styles, and formal or informal tone matches regional expectations. Manual review options let you edit AI translations before sending for perfect accuracy, save improved translations as templates for consistency, build language-specific response libraries over time, and ensure sensitive communications are culturally appropriate for their intended audience.Manual AI replies
